CityGroup were approached to propose a workable solution to a lease request from an incoming tenant to upgrade three sets of ageing toilet facilities which included widening doors and installing DDA compliant cubicles. The tenant had a uniformed corporate specification that they required however as this area fell into the common area demise it was the landlord who was responsible for the costs.

CityGroup prepared costs for the tenant’s specification, however this was over the landlords allocated budget by circa 25%. To achieve the correct balance CityGroup set about sourcing alternatives that where very close to the specification requested in terms of quality and life cycle albeit not branded and therefore more cost effective. As a result, CityGroups project team were able to propose a specification and package that was agreeable to all stakeholders and subsequently deliver this project on time and within budget.
